Around the time of my new music director
job the Internet was continuing to grow and
was starting to boom.
I had always served in
a church in some capacity
- as an assistant and pianist
- but now I
was the music director,
so I started chronicling
my ministry experiences
five years ago at
WorshipIdeas.com before "blogging" was a household
word.
Soon after I found a need
for contemporary
praise band arrangements
of timeless hymns
and developed HymnCharts.com as one of the first websites where churches
could download sheet music. No more packing
and shipping CDs, everything was now virtual!
Soon the media started taking notice of these
little worship websites that are reaching
the world. I was mentioned in marketing guru
Seth Godin's book "99 Cows." More recently I've been on the 700 Club.
